With this piston head you can achieve a significant reduction in the noise created by the piston head/cylinder contact, its adoption creates an air cushion that cushions the blow between the piston head and cylinder head ensuring maximum silence
AIR BRAKE piston head cushioned in POM with double or (XPAA), new version with X-RING technology.
The quietest among those produced by FPS for rifles with bursts of up to 24 shots per second.
By using the supplied shims it is possible to find the right length of the train formed by the piston and piston head, to obtain the best possible engagement angle with the sectoral teeth.
The adjustment levels are 1-2-3- or 4 millimetres if all shims are used.
The XPAA head can also be used without shims, like a normal piston head
